Cache issue

  • Good afternoon. I am pointing two domains to the same WordPress installation, to have two different sites (name, logo, menu, design…) but with the same content.

    The problem is that I can’t have any cache plugin activated (WP Fastest Cache, Autoptimize, WP Super Cache…), because the second domain it shows the website with the cache of the main one.

    Without cache plugins, your plugin works great.

    Nobody uses cache plugins here?

    Is there any solution for this?

    we are aware that those caching plugins can’t be used with our plugin and this is something that really hurts us ??

    Thanks for your answer. Do you know if there is any way to manually cache considering the multidomain? I think that today a cache system is essential, either with plugins or manually.

    i agree that it is very important to use caching. as far as we found out, the problem is just that those plugins check for matching url slugs (which is “/” for the front page as well as for mapped pages). if they would check the full url (like https://mydomain.com/) it would see that those are different pages.

    we will check popular caching plugins for new filters to change that behaviour again and again. a manual solution would always be possible, but i think it is better to have each plugin solve a specific use case and not build big solutions with much overhead in one plugin.
