Popup Maker detected an issue with your file system's ability and is unable to create & save cached assets for your popup styling and settings.

Frustrating that is warning pops up all over the WP dashboard no matter how many times you dismiss it. We only allow writing to the uploads folder for security reasons and in all honesty, no plugin should be writing outside of that folder. Also, if popups arent changed that often, it should only need write access when the popups are changed, no other time. How can I resolve this? I wont be giving the plugin access to write to other areas of WP as thats a huge security risk.

No, I am fine getting support right here where it can help others. You are getting the marketing exposure of www.remarpro.com for plugin, you can support it here too. Thanks.

    Hello @macscr

Thank you for your quick response.

I made a test using my test site, and the created assets are stored under the wp-content > uploads > pum folder. Please consider this screen capture: https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuDBvRE

There are few things to consider when you see the notification
Popup Maker detected an issue with your file system’s ability and is unable to create & save cached assets for your popup styling and settings.
This might be related to the file permission of the uploads folder or something else.

Could you please check this article and see if that will help – Debugging Filesystem Errors

Let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
