    Hi guys,
I hope someone can help me here.

In the past, I used WP Super Cache as my caching solution in combination with the Cloudflare CDN. To improve the page speed of my sites, I want to use the WebP image format, and that is the reason why I tried to replace WPSC with the Cache Enabler. During the first tests, the results were impressive, and I could decrease the loading times significantly. During further testing, I noticed that a few other plugins are not working as they should: Galleries (NextGen Pro Masonry) are broken, and specific maps (Nomad World Map) are disappeared. I dug deeper and found that the number of requests decreased from 110 to 47 after activating the Cache Enabler. Obviously, a lot of resources are missing.

Is it the normal behavior of the plugin that it does not deliver all resources? What can I do to solve my issue?

Thank you very much for your help in advance! I appreciate your assistance!

  • Are you receiving any errors in your browser’s console when you have Cache Enabler activated on your site? Also, do you have any minification options enabled?

Thanks for your fast response! I will test this two things later. Now, the support team of my compression plugin is reviewing my site, and I do not want to change the settings during this check. I keep you updated.

For the meanwhile: Am I right when I assume that the Cache Enabler does not reduce the number of requests on a website? I did not activate the Minify option.

That is correct, Cache Enabler doesn’t reduce the number of requests on your website. There might be a plugin conflict somewhere that is causing this.
