• Hi,

I’m having one issue with the registration functinon on my site:

I’ve been using the plugin Cache Enabler instead of W3 Total Cache, because Cache Enabler was working faster with my site.

But I noticed a problem, that when I had Cache Enabler activated, it was for some reason disturbing the CAPTCHA on registration of new members in the front end, and it was never changing, and users could not register, but were just receiving an error, that they’ve tried too many times, and the CAPTCHA text/numbers were never refreshing.

Does anyone by any chance have experience with why this Cache Enabler plugin has issues with the CAPTCHA function?

    thank you for your help.

    Regards

    Dario

  • I’m assuming the CAPTCHA function is only located on a specific registration page? You could exclude that page from being cached within the CE settings.

    Hi @codyarsenault,

thanks for your advice. The registration possibility is actually on every page, as the registration form is a popup, and it’s button is on every page..

Just to confirm, does this issue occur when W3 is enabled? Also, are you using a specific CAPTCHA plugin or registration plugin so that I can try to replicate the issue?

W3 is disabled, and does not create this issue. and no other CAPTCHA or registration plugins are used.
Note that I tried enabling Cache Enabler again, and now it’s not creating the issue. However, the issue is most likely somewhere with Cache Enabler, as the problem stopped the moment I had previously disabled Cache Enabler.

    thanks

How is the CAPTCHA being generated? Is it built into your theme?

it’s built into the theme ,but generated by google captcha through their public and private keys
