Cache does not work for different hashtag searches

  • Hi,

    I love your plugin, it’s the only one I could find that can do hashtag searches by passing the search term in the template tag.

    It works really well, except that the cache seems to be linked to the twitter username. So since I have different search terms on different pages of my site, it only caches one and then displays it everywhere. With the cache turned off it works as expected.

    Is there a way to make the different hashtag searches cache as well?

    As a workaround I’m now passing fake usernames to the searches. This seems to work, but is obviously not an ideal solution.

    Hi and thanks for using the plugin.

    That’s actually a bug in the code that seems to mix up the search term and the username. I’m currently working on an update that should fix this issue and a few others so keep an eye our for it, I’m hoping to roll it out in the next few days.
