• I updated my All-in-One-Event Calendar to version 2.1.5 and got this message at the top of the plugins & dashboard pages, “Cache directories, …/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/cache/, are not writable. Your calendar will perform more slowly until you make this directory writable by the web server.”

Slow isn’t the word for it – glacial is more like it.

Alas, there’s not suggestion of how to make the directory writable.

I’ve heard of changing the file permissions using my FTP – is this the same thing? What should they they changed to? Which file(s) should be writable? Is there a setting in the plugin that’ll let me make the cache writable?

  • Hello,

Please go to Wp-content -> plugins -> All in one calendar -> cache -> Delete the “TWIG” folder.

    This will fix it.
    Thanks
