• Hey! Really enjoy the plugin but experiencing an issue where my cache control settings are not being set for the bulk upload on Digital Ocean Spaces.

Would love to move all my site media files over, but since none of them are being cached, I dont want to serve them from Spaces

I’ll look into this, but as an aside I don’t recommend anybody use DO Spaces. Their S3 “compatibility” is really lacking, to be polite about it, and it’s the slowest out of all the ones I test against (S3, Wasabi, Google Cloud Storage, Minio, Backblaze).

It’s also not likely that S3 will cost you more. This plugin was built for a site that has around 1 terabyte of images and the monthly S3 bill is around $23. The same amount on DO would be about $3 cheaper ($5 + $15 for the overage). DO isn’t worth the $3 savings in my opinion.

But I’ll look into it ??

    Awesome thank you!

For me, the math works in the other direction — I have a site with around 20GB of images and 300Gb of bandwidth use so $5 on digital ocean, $26 on S3

I understand it’s not a CDN yet, but (I believe) they’ve stated that’s what they are working towards and I’m already deep in the DO products so it’s intriguing to me.

In my testing today the cache-control headers are being set on bulk imports. Could have been user error in my previous testing.
