Cache-Control Header & Dynamic Caching Issues
-
Hi there,
I am encountering a challenging issue with the WP Super Page Cache plugin on my website, https://roseappleevents.com, and I’m hoping for some guidance or advice from anyone who might have experienced something similar.Issue Overview:
- Dynamic Page Error: I am seeing an error on my homepage, which is a dynamic page: “Invalid Cache-Control response header. If you are using Litespeed Server, please disable the option ‘Overwrite the cache-control header for WordPress’s pages using web server rules’, purge the cache and retry.” I am uncertain how to proceed, especially since I don’t know if my server is Litespeed.
- Static Resource Error: For a static resource test (https://roseappleevents.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html), I am receiving a “Cache status: DYNAMIC” message. This indicates that the resource is not being cached by default and that my Cloudflare caching settings may need adjustment.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Ensured proper setup and activation of my site on Cloudflare.
- Checked and disabled other caching systems and any site speed plugins (currently running only 4 plugins: Akismet, Divi Essential, Image Optimization service by Optimole, and Super Page Cache)
- Conducted tests in incognito mode, but consistently found
cf-cache-status: DYNAMIC
in response headers. - Disabled preloader in the plugin settings.
- Disabled fallback cache, but this did not resolve the issue.
Despite these efforts, the cf-cache-status continues to indicate DYNAMIC, suggesting that the page is not being cached as expected. I am reaching out to the community for any insights, experiences, or recommendations that could help resolve this issue.
Thank you for any advice or suggestions you can provide.
