• Before I upgraded to PHP 7.3, when I click on “Delete Cache” under the “List all cached files” link, I can see how many pages where cache and I can choose to delete a specific page/post cache if I choose to do so.

Yesterday morning (Mountain Time), I upgraded the PHP version and I tested if the WP Super Cache works using the WP Super Cache Settings test option. It came back saying the Cache is working fine.

After several hours I check the list of cache pages, nothing there. So I thought me be I will leave it alone for 24 hours and see what happen. I left the site as it is for about 24 hours and I had few visitors from 6 different countries accessed the site overnight. I check ed the “List all cached files” and it still reads:
    Cache Contents

    WP-Cache (0KB)

        0 Cached Pages
        0 Expired Pages

    WP-Super-Cache (0KB)

        0 Cached Pages
        0 Expired Pages

I am so confused and I have not reinstalled the plugin yet because I had do so a lot of custom config to work with my other plugins. I am trying to avoid that. If I have to reinstall the plugin, how can I make a backup of my current config?

I also have checked the .htaccess file before and after php 7.3 upgrade. I didn’t see anything from this plugin in the old .htaccess file so I assume it is not using that?

Also, all other plugins and themes works just fine with no updates or manual edits after PHP 7.3 upgrade.

    Thank you.

Update: the Wappalyzer tool shows that WordPress Super Cache is working. This is such an odd problem. ??

The plugin is working. I just visited your site and got a cached version of the front page. Did you click the “regenerate cache stats” link?

Thank you so much for the response. I just click on the “regenerate cache stats” and the Content page still shows no information under “List all cached files”.

I am happy the plugin is working but it is very useful to just delete one cached page/post when I am troubleshooting any issues.

Also I noticed this message was not here before I upgraded my PHP version:
“Cache stats are not automatically generated. You must click the link below to regenerate the stats on this page.” Link: Regenerate cache stats.

The hosting service provider manually edited my .htaccess files because there was a problem with PHP 7.3 breaking the MySQL connection. I was thinking may be there was an Apache .htaccess code this plugin needs now missing?
