• Hi there,
I installed WP Super Cache and have the following problem:
after activating caching the site runs super fast (I’m logged in). When some time runs up, I don’t know how long it takes, the Cache is cleared and the pagespeed is horrible the first view, but after the first view, the Cache seems to rebuild and the site runs fast again.

This behavior is also on private or inkognito Mode of the Browser.

Where is my mistake in the configuration? I don’t get it.

    Many thanks and Best regards,
    Antonio

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Check the advanced settings page. There’s a “cache timeout” when garbage collection is done and stale cached pages are deleted. If you set the timeout to 0 then it will be deleted but you might see some pages are missing content when you post something or update widgets.

    Hi,

this is allready configured, but my problem is still there.

Hope you have another idea, thank you very much,

    best regards,

    Antonio

You should enable debugging in the plugin on the Settings->WP Super Cache->Debug page and don’t limit it to any IP. That will probably generate a lot of logging data but check the log file when you notice the cache files have been deleted and it will tell you why they were deleted.
