    Hi,

While checking my site post’s header response on developer tool (F12), I find that most of the time the x-litespeed-cache = miss. When I refresh the page it turns into a HIT but after a few minutes again turns into a MISS. I have increased the TTL Default Public Cache TTL to one month, still the cache remains a HIT only for sometime and then turns into a MISS.

Please help me to understand this issue.

    Thank you in advance,

    Swag

I think I figured it out. The problem was with the Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update. Whenever I am posting a new post, the cache is getting wiped off causing frequent cache MISS header response. I have updated the Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update and have kept only the Term archive and the Post type archive checked while the rest are all toggled off. I hope this will solve the frequent cache MISS issue.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.

After many checks unfortunately I am still seeing a cache MISS on many of the high ranking posts within a days time. Meaning, the posts which were cache HIT yesterday have turned into a cache MISS today. Since I have set the TTL to one month I expect the cache HIT to remain active for one month?

ideally , yes , but there could be some action or even, that lead to purge

please follow this guide to grab the purge log , see how/when/what did the purge

Thank you very much for your reply and the helpful link!

I have now unchecked all the options under Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update and now I can see a Cache HIT everyday for the relevant posts and these are very consistent and are not getting wiped off.

I hope the problem is solved now!

    Many Thanks again.
