    Hello,

I am your new user and so thank you for your useful plugin. The plugin itself is great. I would like to suggest if you can add functions/settings so that user can choose if the plugin will block social network or search engines accessing the website. That will be so wonderful work.

In my case, I wandered for pages at this forum but cannot find the way to get bypass for Googlebot, Bingbot, and other search engines (only working with facebot as instructed)

Hope you can help me to bypass these access. Thank you

Hi, thanks for using Force Login!

I appreciate your suggestion, but Force Login is a simple lightweight plugin focused on making a WordPress site private for logged-in users only.

If you need to allow public access for certain criteria (i.e. social networks or search engines) you may build your own logic to bypass Force Login using the v_forcelogin_bypass filter.

As you’ve already found, I gave an example on how to bypass Force Login to allow the Facebook user agent access. You should be able to replicate that example for other social networks or search engines, using their user agents instead.

If you need help coding, I recommend you hire a web developer. Good luck!
