“by” filed at iTunes

  • Is there a way to update the by field at iTunes. It has the padcast name in there as well as in the podcast name field. I would like to put my name in the by field on itunes. Is that possible with the free PowerPress plugin? Is there another way?

    The field you’re referring to is the iTunes Author field. It’s controlled by your RSS feed and yes, PowerPress has a setting for it. Are you currently using PowerPress now to generate your podcast RSS feed? If so, do you know what type of feed you’re using? Is it the default podcast feed, a category feed, or something else?
