BWPS 3.5.6 & 3.6.3 Causing Redirect loop in WP 3.8

  • I’ve got a website that I just updated to WordPress 3.8 and then re-activated Better WordPress Security plugin and now I get a redirect loop. I’ve attempted to update the plugin from 3.5.6 to 3.6.3 but nothing changes, I still get the redirect.

    I do have a my site on an SSL, the previous version of the site did not use SSL so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it, the old site however was still on WP v3.7 and was working without issues.

    Any help out there on this one?

  • I just disabled it on one site for this same issue. It was on a page that should be using ssl

    I’m not sure if this will work for everyone, but I was having a similar issue with Better WP Security and Woocommerce. My checkout page was stuck in a redirect loop.

    In Better WP Settings Page I clicked on the SSL Tab and changed Enforce Front end SSL to Off.

    Give it a shot and see if it works for you.
