Buying domain in wordpress

    Hi,

    I am a newbie here, I just registered a new domain and domain mapping for $17. However when I try to search for my website it redirect me to domain.wordpress.com instead of domain.com. why is that?

    and why I can’t have any plugin install eventhough I’ve registered my domain?
