Buyers session time out! :(

Hey guys,
Taking a ‘swing in the dark’ with this one, but recently i have had a lot of customers complain their session have timed out when trying to purchase from our site.All payments are made through a PayPal gateway, who i have contacted but they cant find any bugs on their end.
Any help would be much appreciated!
