Buyers Premium, Bidder contract, automatic charging

  • -I am interested in having the ability to charge a buyer’s premium on all sales, and a seller premium selectively by vendor (wcfm) I know the latter falls outside of the reach of this support forum but the buyers premium I assume will.

    -Also, what options do we have available in the way of a contract of sorts we can require users to esign or otherwise agree to in order to bid. Would be ideal if it was something that could pop up at login again if we have changed it in any way.

    -Lastly, would it be possible to require a payment method in order to bid but include an option to contact an admin for manual activation without stored payment?

    Any input/wisdom here would be appreciated.

    Thanks for writing to us and your message is well timed!

    We are currently developing 3 features to be included in extended version (Pro):

    1. Buyer’s premium

    2. Membership fee for placing bid and adding auction (latter is yet to be decided)

    3. Collecting Credit Card (Via Stripe Payment Gateway) and automatically debiting winning amount from winner’s credit card.

    We are working really hard to release them mid-November. And I think that should meet your requirements.

    With regards to your query about esign during login or registration, this requirement is kind of independent of our solution as it concerns registration process and there might be some solution already available in WP, kindly search.

    I am looking for a similar solution and it’s good to hear about what you are planning to add to the Pro Version in November, Nitesh. Here is a link to a great example of what I am looking for: https://www.k-bid.com/user/register.

    I am interested in the ability to collect credit card information to verify the user’s identity – not to charge the card, as well as signing off on Terms and Conditions upon registration.
