Buyer Beware

    I started off with the Business Elite theme thinking I would get all of the facilities shown in the demo. I did not. Like others, I soon learned that I had to upgrade to the Pro version.
    My big mistake was paying $40 to them for a poorly constructed theme. For example, I couldn’t enable the slider for the homepage alone – I had to put the slider on all pages or none. Here’s their answer:

    The problem is, that WordPress frontpage and site homepage are actually not the same thing, although they do seem to be the same.

    They then told me that if I gave them Admin access, they’d so something to fix it – I told them I was not in a position to open my site to logins from Armenia, and that I was perfectly capable of patching the code if they gave me the patch.
    Their response was to try to hack into the site. This is completely unacceptable in my view.
    I urge you to be very careful before becoming involved with these people.

    After many days of going back and forth, the slider issue was resolved. Other issues remain. Apparently they implement columns by inserting styled paragraph tags. This imposes limitations on the content of columns. They sent me html and css for a manual workaround, but if you have to insert your own, what’s the point of having shortcodes? Since then, they have repeated asked me to upgrade my review.

    the latest version of business elite theme (both free and pro) has this functionality. Theme options -> Slider -> Specify where slider should be shown -> only on front page. Please update the theme. Thanks!

    Our theme has support for all featured included in our demo with its Pro version,similar to other WordPress theme demos, since demo is designed for the potential users and displays all of the functionality.

    The homepage option for the static page has been added with yesterday’s update, thus it currently has option for this as well. Now the slider can be displayed on front page (if you use static page), homepage (if you use your latest posts) and all page or no slider.

    As for your site, first as we can see you still use our slider on one of your websites, it is not uninstalled. And we have told you in details that we have tried to access the site using proxy service, since it was blocked from Armenia. This is not anyhow related to hacking as we have first provided all of the steps done during the process, then we have not accessed your site and made any changes.

    We respect the rights of each and every client, thus it is very important for us to keep their information safe. We would not proceed with any steps without consulting/communicating with the client, thus there should no issues with safety of our support system.
