Buy It Now does not list username of purchaser

    Hello Nitesh,

    We used your plugin for a silent auction for a school fundraiser. We listed some items with Buy It Now and some users used this method. We do not see who actually won these items in the Expired Auctions page. Since this was a local auction we only enabled the “cheque” payment method. We did not get any notification emails for the Buy It Now winners either.

    Any idea how we can determine who won these items?

    Hi Randy,

    You are right. Expired Auction section should mention username with email details which can be used for contacting.

    I’ll fix this issue and hopefully soon release updated version.

    I’ve got a similar problem. My site only allows registered users to bid or “buy it now”. All the expired auctions listed “Bought by” or “Won by” a user. Except one expired auctions listed “Auction has been bought by paying Buy Now price”. No user info in this record. How can I determine who won this item?

    Can I know in this record what is the final price and who is the final buyer?

    The method of the buyer is not indicated (i.e. by bid or by buy now price ?)

    Hi @ausiuming,

    Saw it. It shows final price at 3rd column and buy now type in 5th column. In new update, we will also show clickable user-name which would give their email.

    Hi Nitesh,

    We are planning on using your plugin again for this years auction fundraiser. Did you resolve the issues? As a site admin, will I be able to see all auction winners whether they use buy it now or not?

    Hi,

    3.7.2 versions have emails.

    Whenever auction expires, go to WP admin panel -> Ultimate Auction -> Manage auctions -> Live/Expired auction -> Bids placed column shows username which when clicked will show their email.

    The problem is also that people can bid without entering their name and/or email address. Fields which are supposed to be mandatory just aren’t.
