Buy 5 Get 1 Free, Buy 8 Get 2 Free etc.

    Hi there, l’d like an extension for Woo that will apply a spectrum of simultaneous “Buy N Get [CHEAPEST] X Free” rules for a shop category or even across the entire inventory.

    I mean:

    Promo #1: Buy 5, Get 1 Free

    Promo #2: Buy 8 Get 2 Free

    Promo #3: Buy 10 Get 5 Free

    If l add 6 items to basket, basket will show the cheapest ONE as FREE

    Add 7 items, basket will still show cheapest ONE as free

    Add 10 items, basket will now switch to promo #2 and show the cheapest TWO as FREE

    Add 14 items, basket will still show the cheapest TWO as free

    Add 15 items, basket will now switch to promo #3 and show the cheapest FIVE as FREE

    I know there are a handful of discounting tools for Woo, but the blurb for each of them is vague as to whether they will do this basic thing l’m requesting.

    They all seem to allow only a percentage off selected items in a multi-item basket, which l guess means my free ones will be set at 100% discount.

    But really, l just want a simple “GET 1 FREE” etc. Just simple quantities free, not a percentage sign in sight. Also, l MUST have the option to make that the **CHEAPEST** 1 Free (or however many).

    Do any Woo extensions actually do this?

    Thank you for the hint.

    I have tried to log in using my existing WP admin logins. They are rejected. It seems there are multiple types of logins for WordPress.

    I think you should have a login to enable a login to sideload another login. Then go to 2FA, get key. Then to copy paste, disable multiple login attempts, and then login.

    Close tab. Check eMail. Then go to the secure tab. Login. Then you can speak to WordPress admin to be directed to log into the questions panel. Job done.

    OK so now l’ve created a login. I’m constantly nagged to accept cookies. I’ve verified my email. Constantly nagged to accept cookies again.

    I cannot get to the link to ask WordPress anything, Nagged by cookies. Told l need to confirm email address.

    I confirm eMail address again. Nagged to accept cookies. Cannot find page where l’m supposed to ask WordPress anything.

    Have you actually tried to create a separate wordpress account? It’s actually stuck in a loop asking me to confirm email address.

    Why do l even need to create a separate wordpress account when l already have 2, running active woocommerce sites? Why are those wordpress logins rejected?

    I created a new account, l still cannot open a ticket. What a croc.
