i had buttons on one theme awhile ago and they didnt work when i was logged out of wordpress, so they wouldnt work for visitors. i had a guy on fiver correct the problem. now i have some pages where they dont work again, just a couple, they work fine on other pages. someone on fiver said it was the theme, so im mentioning this here. if so, why would the theme have anything to do with these buttons that dont show up when im logged out of wordpress and for everyone else

on this page, theres a button in a custom sidebar and one on the bottom of the post

    Hi there,

The link to your page isn’t working for me.

    Can you double check?

It’s very common for plugin support to blame the theme when they can’t figure out what’s wrong.

If it works when you are logged in but not on live site then it basically means it’s not a theme issue, usually that’s a caching issue.

I do notice a console error on your page so perhaps that’s causing it and it isn’t causing by GP:

Have you tried disabling the caching plugin?

I’m not seeing any buttons on that page – did you remove them?

Ah I see – the button is using lazy loading, which means it needs javascript to realize it’s within view, and to display it.

As Leo mentioned, you have a jQuery error on the page, which is preventing the button from displaying (and other javascript from executing).

I’m not able to see where the jQuery error is coming from as you have caching enabled. If you disable it, we should be able to pinpoint the issue.

yea i had another guy correct it for me, he mentioned a plugin and lazyload. i just thought id see if was actually the theme since someone mentioned it

It shouldn’t be the theme, as there isn’t any jQuery. Did you get it working?
