    Hi there!

I have setup the plugin, no sandbox mode active, all live. Plugin says the account is connected. But no buttons show up.

If I try to format the button in the admin backend, the button doesn’t show up. And it’s not showing up in the frontend either. In the backend, I get this error in the console:

SDK Validation error: ‘Query parameter buyer-country disallowed in production env

The request is something like that (replaced credentials)

    https://www.paypal.com/sdk/js?client-id=****&currency=CAD&integration-date=2023-01-11&components=buttons,funding-eligibility,messages&enable-funding=venmo,paylater&buyer-country=CA&disable-funding=card

I triple checked sandbox mode is not on because when searching the forum, it was suggested that this error only occurs when sandbox mode is on. I also set WP_DEBUG to false (was another forum suggestion), but it didn’t change anything.

Logging for the plugin was enabled before, but no error popped up. Disabled it, still not working. All Plugins disabled, still not working. Changed theme, still not working.

What am I missing here? Help would be much appreciated!

  • i had the same problem for 3 days i looked to solve it.

the problem is that the woocommeres blocks update the checkout page but woocommers say that it cant work with it. why they do this i can’t understend. you need to delete the blocks and add the shortcode insted. if you edit the checkout page you will see on the right a massege that the checkout blocks are not supported .and on the link you will see the massage below and the shortcode.

"The?following extensions are known to be incompatible with the Cart and Checkout Blocks. If you are using any of these extensions, we advise you keep using the shortcode-based checkout for now. We’ll be updating this list as more extensions are integrated with the new blocks.

    Hi @pusti300,

Thanks for the message. It appears the button previews in the Standard Payments settings tab are currently not working as intended for certain countries (inc. Canada) when the plugin is configured in live mode.

To see the button previews, I suggest either connecting a sandbox account, or temporarily changing the WooCommerce store location to e.g. United States.
This behavior should be resolved in the next update.

@uzilevi This reported issues does not have anything to do with WooCommerce Blocks. The new Block checkout does not yet support PayPal Payments, but the team is working on adding compatibility over the next few updates.
However, if you have any questions regarding the setup, please open a separate thread for yourself. Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
