Buttons not displaying

Hi,
I’ve installed plugin with a RT theme (Ximenia). All looks good with the plugin code except for the buttons. Could there be a conflict, perhaps?
The buttons appear, but they only have color on mouseover. Also, they’re all the same size.
I’ve tried both
<button>and<a>elements.
