    Within the plugin I enabled PayPal, Pay Later and Credit Card options. However, the 3 buttons of these 3 options are in different languages – Chinese & Italian – while my website language is English. I don’t know why it is like that and I’d like to know how I can change all the button languages to English? You can view these 3 buttons in cart and checkout page on my website. Thank you.

    Hi @lancerlan

    When I view your site, the PayPal buttons are in English because I am in the US. By default, PayPal will display the button language based on the customer’s location and browser locale settings.

    You can use your site’s language settings within the Advanced Settings page. The option is called Locale Setting.

    Thank you for the quick reply.
    I changed the Locale Setting from Auto to Site language, but now only the Chinese ones have changed to English but the Italian one (Pay Later) still remains Italian. Is there a way to change this one as well? Thank you.

    Also, not only the Pay Later button, the Pay Later Messaging remains Italian as well. I’d like to change the message language to the site language as well if possible.

    Hi @lancerlan

    I confirmed that the proper locale of en_US is being passed to the PayPal SDK. I believe PayPal is overriding the messaging language in the backend based on your store currency and PayPal business account. Are you based in Italy?

    As a test, can you change your store currency to USD and see if the Pay Later messaging and button change?

    @lancerlan

    I confirmed with PayPal that the messaging language is based on your PayPal business account and is not affected by the locale option. The locale option only affects the language displayed on buttons other than Pay Later.

    PayPal doesn’t support altering the display language of the Pay Later button or message at this time.
