Buttons in a tab

To add buttons to the tab, you will have to create a template and after you are done creating the template, you will have to write the code to display the button or other contents that you want to display in the template file.
I am sure that you have already referred to this documentation https://docs.wpeverest.com/docs/user-registration/how-to/how-to-add-additional-tabs-in-my-account/.
Follow this part https://prnt.sc/pw8dso of the documentation and it will do the trick.

I have followed the instructions but for upload the template, I haven’t got the folder user-registration in my-chosen-theme, where do I insert the template?

You won’t find the folder in the theme. Rather you will have to create the folder “user-registration” inside the theme folder. Inside the user-registration folder, create a new folder called myaccount and inside it, create a new file “new-item.php”. The new-item.php is the file where you have to write the template code.
