Buttons have disappeared

    All of the buttons on my site have disappeared. They can’t be seen on the page where the code is [maxbutton id=”3″] nor can they be seen on the MaxButtons overview page where I am trying to create a new button. I don’t know when this happened, since I only noticed the issue as I was trying to create a new button and it wasn’t showing in the preview.

    Hi,

    It seems on your page the button loads without any text inside of it, nor any styling. If you use any page caching or other mechanism, try to clear those.

    In the button overview you say you see nothing at all, while those button exist? Do you know from what version you updated the plugin?

    Hi Bas,

    I update my plugins pretty much as soon as I’m notified it needs to be done. I receive notifications by email.

    In the page that I identified above there should be a button immediately below the image. Do you see anything?

    I’d wish I could show you a screenshot of the buttons overview page. The name/description and shortcode are there, but the button itself doesn’t show.

    I’ve cleared the cache with WP Super Cache. No change. I would appreciate anything you can suggest.

    I can see something that should be a button, but as I said it’s empty. I can’t really think of anything that can cause that.

    The issue seems to be Lightbox Plus version 2.7.2 . It crashes the plugin. The newer 2.8 seems to work. Although as a word of warning, that plugin as well hasn’t been tested with any of the newer WordPress versions for years, so I would not recommend using that plugin and find a alternative that’s being updated.
