Buttons appear in a preview but not when published??

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to me.

I didn’t expect you to be able to see the social media buttons as they do not appear once the page has loaded but your screen grab has helped me narrow the answer down a little further. If you notice in your URL you are in /blog. However, when the page fully loads it goes into one of the categories called blog (there are only 2 at the moment blog and podcast)so the URL reads blog/blog. At this time the social widgets disappear. I only noticed it when the page loaded slowly, for a second I see the social buttons and then they’re gone.

This is my first blog design so although I understand the basics of wordpress I’m not entirely familiar with the way the code picks and chooses when to included the plugin and when not to as in this case.

Have you come across this before? Any help would be appreciated.
