• Hi,
I would like to see in a future update the following.
    1. The button Block can be aligned left centre or right.
    2. A print button block should available.
    3. The spacer could be set to a fix size not just 100. Very frustrating on my website at https://www.northampton-business-directory.com when creating posts and pages.

    Hope there will something soon.
    Regards

  • 1. This is already possible, from the beginning of the button block.
    2. I doubt this would be put into core, since the developers don’t like the concept of printing. (I had to try really hard to get them to include print styles in default themes!)
    3. This should already be available. I think I saw the issue for it.

    Hi,

    1. Cannot see how you do that, nothing shows how to align. Please describe what I should see please.

    2. Why don’t “They” like a print button? maybe users would. I have a form, people complete and then should print it out, seems normal.

    3. Please send the link to how to set the spacer height. In many ways it would make sense that when the return key on the keyboard was pressed twice it would put the spacer there automatically. I had to add the spacer the hard way 23 times on one page.

I made two GIFs for you, using WP 5.6 block editor.

    1. I think they changed the controls since I last looked. But it is there. When you insert the button, you are in the text portion, so you have text controls. Once you type some text, you can select the button itself, and the controls change, and there is an alignment option.

    2. Something about wasting paper or “going green”. There are many plugins available to provide such things for print. Just don’t expect that it will be a core block.

    3. The spacer block is its own block, which has a parameter of how tall to be. The control is in the sidebar or you can drag the height of the block itself.
