button width in account page woocommerce

  • Hi, ive seen similar threads to this issue, but I’m trying to control the size of the button relative to the text within it. Without any other custom CSS currently running the button wraps itself to the text without any margin /padding. What I need is some custom CSS to add some padding around the text.

    I can control the height using:
    .button{ height: 1.5em;}

    However width: xx has no effect.

    Anyone with any ideas?
