Button to YouTube opens video player, not the YouTube website

    Hello,

    I have a button that I would like to point to my YouTube channel but instead of opening the YouTube website, it opens a video player.

    Please check the test page I pointed to on this post and let me know how I can get my button just to point to my YouTube page.

    I have changed the button to point to google, links on my site, PDFs, etc. and those all work as intended, just my link to YouTube isn’t working.

    You should probably look into your theme. It seems to load a custom modal when a youtube link is found. This is not something maxbuttons is doing.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply. I have a staging site and on that staging site, I turned on the Twenty Twenty One theme and tested my button and it goes directly to YouTube so you are right, it seems like the theme is doing this.

    Good luck! It seems it’s a theme feature, so you might want to ask their support if you can make exceptions to it.
