    Hi

    Is there a way to change the button text value in the avatar file upload shrotcode from “Update Profile” to something custom?

    You have to make changes in the plugin core files to change this text to your custom text. Please go to includes/class-wp-user-avatar-shortcode.php at line number 240 You can change the text according to your need.
