Button Showing in Post Excerpt

On all of our post excerpt the “Click Here to Submit” button is showing up. Additional, if the post has comments they are showing up below that…making using a excerpt a little useless.
We have notice that if we do a excerpt just for the titla and image the button does show up, only when we include text.

Have to say, I woun’t mind the stars (only) under the excerpt…!
