Button shortcode problem

  • Not sure if this is a version control problem, but the only shortcode I’m having any issue with is the button shortcode.
    The shortcode: [button size="large" type="link" value="Link" href="/pagename"]
    Spits out: <p><a class="button large"><span></span></a></p>

    If I change it to any type of button with different values and different href values, it still comes up with only the class values in the HTML.

    Any thoughts?
