Button not showing on certain pages

    Hi,

    I love these MaxButtons, but for some reason not ALL of them show up on pages. I have three that work and three that don’t. The ones that work are right on the index – Advanced Graphic Systems. The ones that don’t work, show the shortcode for the buttons on the Toner page. I Do have them set to use the external CSS and i have copied and pasted the code for each button in my stylesheet for the template.

    Can you please help me understand and figure out what the buttons on the index work while the buttons on the toner don’t. I’m using mostly Chrome to work in WP and occasionally Firefox.

    How are you inputting the information on the Toner page? Are they all just TinyMCEs? Does the way you input the text differ between the Index page and the Toner page?

    I am inputting information using the text tab of the page editors to add the short-code ( [maxbutton id=”#”] ), otherwise using the visual tab puts it in a paragraph tag and formats accordingly. The template has a feature called “sections” the template treats them as posts so they show up on the index page. The Toner page is an actual page.

    No, they are simply short-codes as written above. I copied the shortcodes right off the page in the plugin page after creating the button. The TinyMCE has a tiny purple round button for the to add the short-code, but I’ve tried that too and that didn’t work either.

    I also have buttons that have mysteriously disappeared.
    [maxbutton id=”1″] now only shows as text link, which doesn’t work to send email.
    [maxbutton id=”2″] has no problems at all links to a URL

    They both look fine to me.

    I figured out the culprit. It was a setting in Email Encoder Bundle. I had to turn off the checkbox to encode mailto addresses.

    Not ideal but back in business. If there is ever a fix to fully use both plugins I would love to hear about it.
