Button failure and turning red…why

Wierd stuff. All the buttons in my site have turned red and when clicked go nowhere, whether directed to an external URL or just directed at an internal page. I just cannot figure out what is going on
When I embed a new link without a button in the code it works OK.

Is there anything wrong with this code?
