Button deosnt work on WP MULTISITE

Hi Prodigiworld,

I just checked in two different multisite configurations and the plugin worked. Can you tell me some of the other plugins you have installed? Chances are, one of these is conflicting with my plugin. If we can identify which one, I can create a way to prevent this from happening.

The plugin calls a javascript uploader if the profile page is open. Since it hooks on the init of the admin screen, chances are, another plugin is conflicting with the uploader or is overloading my uploader function.

This could occur with any type of plugin that adds something to your profile screen.

Any ideas?

Just checked again with about 100 different plugins, and after going through some of your other posts I’m almost certain this is a conflicting template/plugin issue.

I’m going to mark this as resolved, as there are many other people running WPMU who have not experienced problems.

That doesn’t mean I wont still help, though. 100% product support is my goal, so please send me some of your plugins or — even better — a copy of the error console (are you using Chrome?)

Hi, its only work if I changes my own profiles. As Admin I thought that I will have ability to changes any of my user profiles. And it doesnt work with Fancier Author Box. Thanks!

I had the same issue when using Chrome and logged in as Admin. The plugin worked as expected after logging in as the individual users in Firefox.

I can’t get this to work either. I press the button and nothing happens. I have a multisite as well.

I tried to use firefox and also Safari, but no love. I really don’t want to have to log in as individual users, as I have nearly 50 users for whom I would have to do this, and frankly I just don’t have the time.

Same problem here, but on a single install (not WPMU).

It seems that the button only works on the user who is currently logged in.
I hope this is a bug. If it’s a ‘feature’, I’ll have to look at another solution, as I do not have any of the users passwords (and why would I?).

Same problem here, I do not have access to all user accounts to login to each and upload. So this must be an issue with this plugin and not a conflict since it works for my user account on my profile page but not the user profile page.

It doesn’t seem like the developer cares …

To fix this issue find line 33 of easy-author-image.php and change it to

if ( 'profile' == get_current_screen()->id OR 'user-edit' == get_current_screen()->id) {

Thanks Jeff, but I don’t do PHP and if the developer doesn’t care about this, I don’t feel good about using this plugin at all. That’s very sad if it’s that easy to fix ??
