Button color has changed AND modal content is re-setting to default

    I am having content and styling issues since I updated Astra/Spectra on this staging site. I haven’t worked on it in a couple weeks, so I updated plugins and theme today. The buttons on my homepage have changed color to transparent. When edited the button colors and saved my page, the updated page lost all the custom content in the 8 modals I had set up, and reverted to the default content (“Engage your visitors…”).

    I can go back to previous page revision that has the correct content, but when I view the modals in the editor, they once again revert to the default content, so I am not going to save that page. The problem is now I can’t fix the button color without ruining all my modals. Help!

    This is my setup:

    • WP version 6.2
    • Astra version 4.1.4
    • Spectra plugin version 2.5.1
    • Astra Pro plugin version 4.1.5

    Thanks for writing to us.

    Please try debugging as follows:

    After updating, please be sure to regenerate the assets. We do this automatically after the plugin is updated, but just to be sure, go to “Spectra > Settings > Asset Generation > Regenerate Assets” and press the button.

    Also, empty cache and hard reload while on the editor screen. Here’s how: https://share.bsf.io/2NumNvZ2.

    Sorry for not trying your resolution — the notification that you replied was in my spam folder.

    I am still having the issue after regenerating the assets and using Cmd-Shift-R to hard refresh the editor page.
