As far as I understand, you want the popup to be opened, you create a button on the page by clicking on which you can close the popup.?
I want to mention, that the PRO version of the plugin has this feature available for usage.?
In order to find it, you can go to the Popups page > particular popup > Settings tab and tick the?Close by classname (onclick) option.?

You can copy the given classname, and assign it to any tag in the content as well as inside the popup.
By this, the popup will close when the user clicks on the classname.?
