Hello, thank you for this easy and pretty plugin.
When I use your button block and I choose alignment Right, it works on the individual post or page, but it doesn’t always work on the blog or category page, see for an example the link I’ve added, and I don’t understand what I’ve done differently there.
I’m using GeneratePress (Premium) as my theme and I’ve set blog layout to show the entire content.
On the home page of that site, I’m showing those same two posts with WP Show Posts (Pro) and the buttons don’t take any alignment there at all, but maybe I should put that in the WP Show Posts forum? I’ve also set that to show the whole content.
I’ve added some CSS through Simple CSS (haha I’m sensing a theme here) and I turned that off to be sure and that didn’t fix the problem.
Anyway, if the answer is “Add some CSS,” no problem, I can do that, but if it’s a setting in the buttons block I did or didn’t set, I would love to know!
    Thank you,
    Naomi

EDIT: I just switched the posts and that also switched the problem, that is to say: on the page I linked the post that had the button on the left instead of the right is now the other post. So it might be an interaction between the theme and the plugin. Anyway, not sure this was helpful, but this is all I have.

    Hi there,

what happens if you go to the GenerateBlock settings and change the CSS Print Method to Inline ?

    Thank you for your response!
That did not change anything. What’s weird too is that the line (of CSS with justify-content:flex-end) actually doesn’t seem to be there (maybe I’m not looking right?), as opposed to being overwritten. It’s there for one button but not the other and if I switch the order of the posts, the button that gets that line of CSS switches too and the other one just seems to disappear.

    Hi there,

This could be that the CSS generation is having trouble with the loop – I’ll have to do some testing there.

Just to confirm, what happens if you change the color of the second button? Does that color take effect?

I am so sorry for my slow reply! I was away from my computer this weekend.
I gave each of them a different color (blue, pink) and the first post (the left one) gets its color, the right one does not on the blog category page. If I change the order of the posts, this switches again. So either the left is blue or it is pink, but the right has no color either way.
In the WP Show Posts list on home neither color is shown.

That pretty much confirms my suspicion – thanks!

I’ll need to debug this to see if it’s possible to run our CSS generation in a loop – it could be a pretty substantial issue that needs addressing in a feature release vs a patch.

Will get back to you once I know ??

    Thanks!

Good to know Tom and easy to fix with some CSS in the mean time.
    Thank you!
