  • I am having the same problem. When the form is filled out and the submit button is clicked – it seems nothing happens – the green message “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.” that usually comes up is not showing – yet the contact info is being emailed. The problem is the user doesn’t realize that the form info was sent and they try multiple times.

It’s strange because I have the exact configuration on other sites and it’s working. Any ideas on how to resolve it? It was working perfectly before on the site in question.

    me too

Can you reproduce the error with *all* the other plugins deactivated *and* a stock WordPress theme enabled (e.g. Twenty-Sixteen)?

    I can reproduce it.
If I enter an email address, the send button does not work any more. The unexpected behavior occurs in a text field as well as in an email field.

This behavior was not there a few months ago. Via private email I would be more than willing to share a form to reproduce the behavior, as this is an essential functionality to get emails via contact forms.

by the way, my theme is twenty fourteen

Thanks for the hint. After some updates, the problem disappeared.

I have the same problem on my site . What do I do?
