Some plugins and themes load their scripts on BPS plugin pages which breaks the BPS visual interface, menus, jQuery, etc. If you are seeing this – https://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/bulletproof-security-menus-css-and-js-not-displaying-correctly/ – then another plugin or theme is breaking BPS plugin scripts and you would deactivate plugins one by one to isolate which plugin is causing the problem. BPS is very difficult to navigate and use if this problem is being caused by another plugin or theme.
In general, the BPS UI/UX has been lacking spit and polish. We added the UI Theme Skin changer a while back, which is a visual UI theme changer, but does not change the UX in any way.
The BPS UX is currently being worked on and has major UX changes in BPS .51.5. #1 priorities for BPS have been and are security and website performance. We are backtracking now and doing major visual stuff and adding some frills. UX work has been pending for over a year now, but kept getting pushed back since it is a lower priority.
On a positive note, the visual frills stuff is the #1 complaint with BPS. So that is actually a very good thing in a way. ie folks websites are not getting hacked, folks websites are not having performance problems, folks hosting accounts are not being suspended due to high server load/resource usage, folks websites are not having SEO problems, etc. ??
