  • There was exactly the same behaviour with NextGEN Gallery when it was rewritten for v2 and I thought it would just kill the plug-in.

    Install version 4.9.1 manually. This will take care at least of the currently running polls.

    You can download it from the “Development” tab.

    Yes. The manual reversion works. Just requiring re-setting up the formatting. But the data was retained. A very scary sequence of events, with loss of face.
