    Hi,

This is Bayu from Ulkaloka. We have a problem about integrating all our products into Facebook using the Facebook for WooCommerce Plugin.
In essence, we have a goal to integrate all of our products on the website into Facebook so that we can open an Instagram shop.

The problem is when selecting Business Manager on the Facebook for WooCommerce Plugin they say “Business is not eligible for advertising based on Facebook Advertising Policies.” and if we choose a different business manager, our page also cannot be selected for the reason “This is the primary Page of Ulkaloka. Choose another Page or review your Business Manager settings”

We have contacted Facebook Business Support to ask about this problem, but they said our Business manager and Page have no problems, I asked 3 times and they really made sure that our business manager and page are very clean, and they suggested contacting WooCommerce for this problem.

We have attached all the image needs at this link: https://ibb.co/VSBz6tx

We hope to receive assistance regarding this issue. thanks!

  • Hey @incubatorstudios

I understand that your business manager and page are not authenticating to the plugin.

Often this could happen if you have not set up two-factor authentication for your business manager. Can you check if you have already done this? This is how to do it: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/280940009201586?id=199156230960298

    Thanks

    Hai @danndumia

    thanks for the advice

We have tried to do two-factor authentication but the problem is still not resolved, do you have any other solutions?

    Hi @incubatorstudios,

For this, the Business Manager portion of Facebook essentially helps advertisers integrate Facebook marketing efforts across their business and with external partners. Often this requires Admin level privileges added to the Account/Business Manager. We do recommend that you try getting added as a Business Manager admin. Have you been added as an admin to the Business Manager?

Please double check that, and if it was not set, then be sure to set it and try to do a full fresh connection (disable/uninstall Facebook, reinstall it and start the connection fresh).

    Let us know the results!

    Hai @nixiack8

    thanks for the advice

I’m already an admin on this business manager, and I’ve also tried to disable / uninstall Facebook, but the problem is still not resolved.

The question is why the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin says that our business manager “Business is not eligible for advertising based on Facebook Advertising Policies.” While Facebook Business Support said our account was good and clean. Is there some kind of bug? do you have any other solutions?

    Hi @incubatorstudios,

That is super odd that Facebook would say it is A-OK. The issue would lie with Facebook’s side, as we do not have an error message that is generated from the plugin directly for Business is not eligible for advertising based on Facebook Advertising Policies..

A rundown of the requirements for the Business to be on Facebook is at this link, and you can reach out to the Commerce specific team at Facebook at this link if you have not already.

Please let us know how it goes!
