Business Directory

  • I am new to wordpress and would like to know if I would be able to create a business directory type site with the following features:

    – Sort business listings by geography and business type
    – Have individual businesses be able to edit their own listing
    – Listing should have set fields (phone, web, email, description, photo (s).

    Any help/advice is much appreciated!

    • What theme you use
    • What plugins you use

      • Whether you are either prepared to pay for any specialised coding that

    • you might need or can carry out the coding work yourself.

    Esmi, can you enlighten me. I’m looking for something where people can add their business relevant to my website. I want to be able to approve listings (as I want to keep the site very focussed) and also have people pay for premium listings….

    I am happy to pay if necessary…

    Any ideas welcomed.
