Hello, thank you for your wonderful plugin!
My website let people download files for free, and so far doing really good.
However, as the visitors grow, I have getting quite a lot of complains regard to the downloading process-
people are reporting that when they hit “DOWNLOAD” button (which is linked to the download file, not using shortcode) they just get bunch of script and unable to download.

Majority of people have no issues downloading files though, but the number of error is going up and it would be great to have it fixed.

    Thank you for your time!

  • Hey,

Sorry to hear that. Do you know what browser and Operating System they’re using when they get the bunch of scripts error. I just checked on Ubuntu/Chrome and I’m able to download the file correctly.

    Kind Regards,

    Barry Kooij

    Thank you for your reply.
I have too, tried Chrome and Safari and both works fine.
I started to getting this report when the website starting to get more people.
Most of the report seems to happen when users are trying to download from iPhone or the mobile devices- and web browser varies as well, Safari, Chrome.

    Hey caluyadesign,

I apologize for the delay in replying. Are you still facing this issue? If yes, can you please let us know the version of our plugin installed?

I’m closing this issue due to no reply for 2 weeks. Please create a new ticket if this is still an issue with the latest version of Download Monitor.
