bullet lists not showing

I’ve found some here but you have constructed them using <p> - lorem ipsum </p>. You should be using the construct:

<ul>
<li> </li>
</ul>

and using CSS to style whichever bullets you need.

Hi, thanks for responding to me. I actually have used that HTML, but it didn’t show the bullet points on my web page (so I deleted it). The bullets do show in the visual editor and the text editor though.

I am also not familiar with CSS. So how do I proceed? Where do I put the CSS? I just assumed that a WordPress Theme would automatically allow you to use bullet lists.
