Bulk upload

  • Hi,

    I can see that you can do a bulkupload of text, tags etc through a txt/csv file.
    Is there anyway you can do a bulkupload for all the images in the gallery such that a csx/txt file can contain path to image plus all its text, tages etc.

    This would be very helpful as I have potentially 1000’s of images to add to multiple galleries/albums

    You can export complete albums. Use the Photo Albums -> Export page.
    This creates zipfiles wppa-{albumid}.zip
    They are placed in your depot dir ( …/wp-content/wppa-depot/{username}/ ).
    You can move them to your depot on a different site, and import them.

    This feature has not been maintained lately, so you may loose some of the (not in the process included) metadata. Pls try and see if it transfers enough metadata before you rely on it.

    You can not bulk upload, you can bulk import after bulk ftp to your depot dir.

    But I guess if i directly copy into the wp_wppa_photos it should work?

    Would like to know in what format are the dates in the “timestamp” and “modified” field?
