Bulk status change still not working

I know others have reported this, but I’m doing it again since it seems it’s not resolved and I’d like to be informed if/when it is. I am able to individually hide (for example) out of stock products from my search results, but if I try to select a page of them and edit all, the status change does not take — in either direction.
In addition, even though the “visible” becomes “hidden” in the list of products when I toggle it individually, the product still shows in search results. So we’re looking at (1) inaccurate status reporting and (2) inability to change status.
