Hello, I have about 2-300 images uploaded that were optimized for “lossy”. That is still too large, I need to optimize on “high” setting. Is it possible to do this in bulk with the free plug-in? I tried to re-optimize using bulk option, but it does not re-optimize it just leaves them as is. I hope you can assist, I do not have time to go through and re-optimize each image individually. Thank you – Edwin

  • Hello.

To do this, you need to restore the image backup, change the compression ratio, and start mass optimization again.

Hello, I have deleted the back ups already so I cannot restore. However, even if I upload new images with the compression set to “high”, it is not optimizing enough, it is only reducing about 60%. With my other website it is much more effective and the images load much smoother. Is the problem PNG vs JPEG? My other website images are JPEG, this website is PNG. How do I resolve this?

PNG files are compressed worse than JPG.
If you have already deleted the backup, you can reinstall the Robin plugin, then it will “forget” which images it has already optimized and you can optimize everything again

I already tried that, it didn’t work. It will not further optimize them, it just leaves improvement as 0%

This means that our plugin can’t optimize these images any more.
