    Hi,

i’m having an issue with setting my product attributes to index. I have 500+ attributes and adjusting the yes/mo toggle for each is very time consuming. After aadjusting 300 or so the settings are no longer saving. I set an attribute archive to “NO” and save and after the page refreshes the settings revert back to “YES”.

Any solution to this issue or a way to set no index on all product attributes at once?

    Hi @anjoid,

Unfortunately, there is no way to set this setting in bulk, as each product attribute is a separate custom taxonomy. You might be able to do it in bulk with the wpseo_robots filter, although you would have to be a developer to use this solution.

We understand you are experiencing an issue after setting the noindex tag to ~300 product attributes. We will try to replicate this issue on our end. How many taxonomies at a time do you try to noindex when clicking “Save changes” (and the changes are reversed after)?

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

I’ve tried saving all at once and also incremental with 5 or so at a time but when I get to the bottom 50 attributes the settings don’t save.

I did find a work around but it’s a bit of a hassle. I exported the yoast settings, found the no index settings in the export and adjusted the values in excel and re imported.

Thanks for letting us know, your workaround seems like the most effective solution for such cases.

So the work around worked but every time I update or reactivate yoast 50%+ of the product attributes are set back to index. This is a major issue for large woocommerce store.

The options don’t save manually and the import/export works when it wants to.

Why would my imported options be reversed on deactivate/reactivate or plugin update? Should my options be locked in?
